1. SUBJECT
Resignation of Dave Simpson from the Planning Commission.
2. SUMMARY
Dave Simpson submitted a letter of resignation from the Planning Commission. He will resign once a viable candidate is identified; or, alternatively, after the August 19, 2024, Planning Commission meeting. Commissioner Simpson’s unexpired term ends June 30, 2027.
3. RECOMMENDED ACTION
Accept the resignation of Commissioner Simpson; and direct the City Clerk to post a Notice of Vacancy, pursuant to the Maddy Act.
