The City Council of the City of Orange, California convened on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. for a Special Meeting in the Grijalva Sports Center Building B, 368. N. Prospect St ., Orange, California.
5:00 PM STRATEGIC PLANNING SESSION
1. OPENING/CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Slater called the meeting to order at 5:03 p.m.
1.1 PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Led by Mayor Dan Slater.
1.2 ROLL CALL
Councilmember Bilodeau joined the meeting at 5:20 p.m.
Present: Barrios, Tavoularis, Gutierrez, Bilodeau, Gyllenhammer, and Slater
Absent: Dumitru
2. ADMINISTRATIVE REPORTS
2.1. City of Orange Strategic Plan Discussion and Update.

City Manager Kisela introduced the item. Bill Kelly, Kelly Associates Management Group, LLC, reviewed the draft Goal Action Plan. Council discussed renumbering the goals in order of priority, listing specific actions to some of the short term objectives, adding historic preservation as a goal, and conducting a forensic audit.
Council provided staff with revisions to specific goals and objectives.

3. ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 6:51 p.m.
The next Regular City Council meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at 6:00 p.m., in the Council Chamber, with Closed Session beginning at 5:00 p.m., if necessary.
