This agreement provides general landscape maintenance services for all city facilities, public right of way, and monthly Santiago Creek debris removal, excluding parks. Nieves Landscape, Inc. has performed satisfactorily in accordance with the scope of work for the initial contract. Staff recommends a one-year extension be authorized in the amount of $420,600, which includes a 5% increase from the current contract pricing and a 10% contingency. This contract allows the City to make future services modifications should the City Council modify the budget for the services.

Should this occur, staff will return with a contract amendment to reflect any future modifications for approval by the City Council.
