NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ZONE TEXT AMENDMENT: ADOPTION OF AN ORDINANCE
UPDATING TITLE 17 RELATED TO DIRECTOR INTERPRETATIONS, CITY
EXEMPTION, TIE VOTES, APPEAL AND TIME EXTENSION PROVISIONS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Orange will hold a Public Hearing at a Regular Meeting of the City Council on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at 5:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, at the City Council Chamber, 300 E. Chapman Avenue, Orange to consider the following request:
SUBJECT: A Zone Text Amendment (proposed Ordinance) to Update Title 17 (Zoning Ordinance) to add provisions related to director interpretations, city exemption from Title 17, tie votes and amending the Zoning Ordinance appeal and time extension provisions.
APPLICANT: City of Orange
LOCATION: Citywide
ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION: The proposed Ordinance is not a project under the California Environmental Quality Act (“CEQA”) per State CEQA Guidelines Section 15378, because it involves administrative activities of the City that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the environment.
FURTHER INFORMATION:All interested persons may be heard on any relevant matter relating to the proposed action by attending the public hearing in person; or by submitting written comments as set forth in the June 25, 2024, City Council agenda.
