1. SUBJECT
Appropriation of $35,000 in donations for the 2024 Concerts in the Park series.
2. SUMMARY
Acceptance and appropriation of collected revenues in the amount of $35,000 of special event donations from the Wilson Automotive Group to fund the last five concerts of the 2024 Concerts in the Park series.
3. RECOMMENDED ACTION
1. Accept into the City’s revenue budget $35,000 in special event donations to General Fund Reimbursable Fund (105):
105.7015.48380.17560 Concerts in the Park
2. Authorize the appropriation of $35,000 to General Fund Reimbursable Fund (105):
105.7015.51670.17560 Other Prof Consult Services - Concerts in the Park
4. FISCAL IMPACT
There is no direct fiscal impact to the City. The additional revenue received from Wilson Automotive Group will fund the expense for the last five concerts of the 2024 Concerts in the Park series.

6. DISCUSSION AND BACKGROUND
On June 25, 2024, the City Council voted to cancel all Fiscal Year 2024-25 (FY25) special events after July 4, 2024 and eliminate funding for these events in the FY25 budget. On June 28, 2024, Council authorized the continuation of special events on an individual basis if the City received full sponsorships for the event. The Wilson Automotive Group donated $35,000 to sponsor the remaining five concerts in the 2024 Concerts in the Park series.
