1. SUBJECT
Notice of Completion and Acceptance for Chapman Avenue, Main Street, and Katella Avenue Water Quality Storm Drain Improvement Project; Bid No. 22-23.42 (D-179).
2. SUMMARY
The City of Orange entered into a contract with Excel Paving Inc, for the Chapman Avenue, Main Street, and Katella Avenue Water Quality Storm Drain Improvement Project. The work has been completed to the satisfaction of the Public Works Department.
The Chapman Avenue, Main Street, and Katella Avenue Water Quality Storm Drain Improvement Project was designed to install a Debris Separating Baffle Box (DSBB) and pipe screens that are intended to capture trash, sediment, organic matters, nutrients, and other debris to minimize pollutants that enter the Santa Ana River.
3. RECOMMENDED ACTION
1. Accept Chapman Avenue, Main Street, and Katella Avenue Water Quality Storm Drain Improvement Project as complete.
2. Authorize City Clerk to file Notice of Completion with the Orange County Clerk-Recorder’s Office.
