Introduction and First Reading of an ordinance repealing and replacing Chapter 12.48 of the Orange Municipal Code pertaining to parks. Ordinance No. 24-24.
2. SUMMARY
Proposed Ordinance No. 24-24 codifies relevant Director’sOrders, updates language to meet current law, and address new park amenities.
3. RECOMMENDED ACTION
Introduce and conduct First Reading of Ordinance No. 24-24. An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Orange repealing and replacing Chapter 12.48 of the Orange Municipal Code pertaining to parks.
4. FISCAL IMPACT
None.

6. DISCUSSION AND BACKGROUND
The Orange Municipal Code Chapter 12.48 regarding Park Regulations was last revised in 2004. The ordinance being introduced would repeal and replace Chapter 12.48 with language to codify all relevant Director’s Orders, meet current law, and address new park amenities.
