NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ZONING CODE AMENDMENT:
ADOPTING OBJECTIVE DESIGN STANDARDS
BY REFERENCE IN TITLE 17 FOR QUALIFIED HOUSING PROJECTS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Orange will hold a Public Hearing at a Regular Meeting of the City Council on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, at the City Council Chamber, 300 E. Chapman Avenue, Orange to consider the following request:
SUBJECT: A proposed ordinance adopting Objective Design Standards by reference in Title 17 for qualified housing projects.
APPLICANT: City of Orange
LOCATION: Citywide
ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION:This Ordinance is not a project under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) per State CEQA Guidelines Section 15378, because it involves administrative activities of the City that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the environment. For this reason, no further CEQA documentation is required.
FURTHER INFORMATION:All interested persons may be heard on any relevant matter relating to the proposed action by attending the public hearing in person; or by submitting written comments as set forth in the November 26, 2024, City Council agenda.
