The 2024 Crime Report is prepared by the Orange Police Department and includes crime statistics and information on arrests and calls for service.

6. DISCUSSION AND BACKGROUND
In preparation for upcoming policy discussions related to the Fiscal Year 2025-2026 budget process, the City Council directed staff to provide a crime report for 2024. The attached report was prepared by the Orange Police Department and includes crime statistics along with the number of calls for service and arrests.
Also included is the Homeless Engagement and Resource Team (HEART) annual homeless report.
The 2024 Homeless and HEART report includes homeless related crime statistics and the progression of outreach services provided to the homeless community.
