1. SUBJECT
Second Reading and adoption of an Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Orange amending Title 17 (Zoning) of the Orange Municipal Code to allow the sale and service of alcoholic beverages in conjunction with the operation of a bona fide restaurant as a permitted use in certain zoning districts subject to special use regulations. Ordinance No. 13-25.
2. SUMMARY
The Introduction and First Reading of the above-entitled Ordinance was approved at a Regular Council Meeting on August 26, 2025. During Council discussion of the item, staff was directed to remove Condition #20 relating to the prohibition of generic drink specials or happy hour promotions, as recommended by the Planning Commission.
The Ordinance is now presented, as amended, for Second Reading by title only, and adoption.
Vote at First Reading: AYES: Bilodeau, Tavoularis, Gutierrez, Gyllenhammer, Slater
NOES: Dumitru
ABSENT: Barrios
3. RECOMMENDED ACTION
Adopt Ordinance No. 13-25.
