2 Prepare ordinance to modify the Design Review process:
Discretionary review and approval for certain development projects Proposed ordinance focuses Design Review Committee (DRC) review to only projects involving historic resources
Current Process
3 DRC reviews all development projects, except for minor projects that qualify for Administrative Design Review (ADR).
DRC purview includes Historic and Non-Historic Properties.
Proposed Ordinance
4 Historic properties (Districts, Inventory, and properties over 50 years old and determined by staff to be historic):
No change in process.
Non-Historic Properties would be subject to Administrative Design Review (ADR). All new development.
Major modification to existing structures.
