1. SUBJECT
Second Reading and adoption of an Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Orange amending Sections 2.10.090 and 2.10.240 of the Orange Municipal Code to prohibit transfers of contributions from candidate-controlled committees to City Candidate-Committees, to prohibit Candidate- Controlled or Elected Officer-Controlled Committees from making contributions to any committee supporting or opposing a City Candidate for office, and to clarify procedures for amending campaign contribution limitations. Ordinance No. 19-25.
2. SUMMARY
The Introduction and First Reading of the above-entitled Ordinance was approved at a Regular Council Meeting on November 12, 2025.
The Ordinance is now presented for Second Reading by title only, and adoption.
Vote at First Reading: AYES: Barrios, Dumitru, Gutierrez, Slater NOES: Bilodeau, Tavoularis
ABSENT: Gyllenhammer
3. RECOMMENDED ACTION
Adopt Ordinance No. 19-25.
