Second Reading and adoption of Ordinance No. 02-26 amending Chapter 8.13 of the Orange Municipal Code to impose strict liability on social hosts for allowing, facilitating, or failing to prevent the use or discharge of illegal fireworks, and establishing enforcement penalties and administrative fines
2. SUMMARY
The Introduction and First Reading of the above-entitled Ordinance was approved at a Regular Council Meeting on April 28, 2026.
The Ordinance is now presented for Second Reading by title only, and adoption.
Vote at First Reading: AYES: Bilodeau, Barrios, Dumitru, Tavoularis, Gutierrez, Gyllenhammer, Slater
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
3. RECOMMENDED ACTION
Adopt Ordinance No. 02-26.
