The program provides funding to support collaborative efforts to strengthen border security along routes of ingress from international borders, including travel corridors in states bordering Mexico and Canada, as well as states and territories with international water borders. The primary objective of the program is to enhance border and California coastline security, reduce border-related criminal activity, and promote regional law enforcement collaboration.
