NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE ORANGE MUNICIPAL
CODE REGARDING SPEED LIMITS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Orange will hold a Public Hearing,Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the Council Chamber located at 300 E. Chapman Avenue, Orange, California, to consider the following:
SUBJECT: An ordinance amending Section 10.14.050 of Chapter 10.14 of the Orange Municipal Code pertaining to speed limits.
PROPOSED ACTION:The City Council will consider adoption of an ordinance amending the speed limit established for various streets citywide.
CITY TRAFFIC COMMISSION ACTION: At their August 12, 2026, meeting, the City Traffic Commission voted 6-0 to recommend approval of the proposed speed limit changes.
