1. Roadside Vegetation Clearance – Discuss and identify opportunities to expedite roadside vegetation clearance, especially along key evacuation routes, and Provide Direction, if any

3. Staffing/Resource Models – Discuss and identify opportunities to encourage and guide fuel reduction efforts on private properties and neighborhood preparedness, and Provide Direction, if any

a. Annual Joint Meeting
b. Grant Opportunities/Funding in support of fire prevention and emergency preparedness
c. Fire Code Update and other code changes
5. Next Steps – Discuss possible next steps regarding ongoing collaboration on fire prevention and emergency preparedness, and Provide Direction, if any
E. PUBLIC FORUM
The public forum provides an opportunity for members of the public to speak on any item within the jurisdiction of the Orinda City Council or MOFD that is not on the agenda.
When an item is not listed on the agenda, State law prohibits discussion or action.

Councilmembers and Boardmembers may only “briefly respond” to statements made and questions posed. For example, State law allows Councilmembers to ask questions for clarification and provide a reference to staff or other resources for factual information.
