Hi Brandyn & LatikaI saw that Linda's performance review is scheduled for the closed session this evening, so I wanted to provide feedback as a private citizen and member of the public.
Linda Smith is a highly capable civil servant. She's awesome.
Linda was tough on the Siesta Valley team at the very first EBMUD meeting, but I think she was looking out for Orinda, not wanting to waste taxpayer money, and I respect that. She asked thoughtful questions, and was brief, with no grandstanding. I respect that, too.
Linda follows through and is true to her word. She is practical, knowledgeable, and apolitical. She has helped us navigate City of Orinda (and state agency) bureaucracy expertly. She cares.
