The City Council shall consider permitting staff to accept an FAA Airport Infrastructure Grant (AIG) in the amount of $298,281 (once offered) for FY25-26 for the following work at the Oroville Municipal Airport:
 Engineering Design and Construction of Schedule A – Crack Seal Taxiway L and North Tie Down Apron
 Engineering Design only of Schedule B - Crack Seal South Tie Down Apron and Tee Hangar Taxi lanes
 Engineering Design only of Runway 13-31 pavement remark Securing this Federal AIG grant (if funded by the FAA and approved by Council) would require a 5% Airport Sponsor (City) “match” of $15,699.00 plus $6,405.00 in Federally ineligible costs associated with sealing the joints in front of the FBO. FAA considers the pavement within 50 feet of the FBO as “sole use” by the FBO and FAA only pays for pavement that is used by general aviation public and not one tenant, therefore the City must pay 100% of this $6,405 (see attachment), for a total City contribution of $22,104.00.
