In 2023, during the tenure of prior staff, MDG was verbally authorized to perform additional work without formal written authorization. While the work was completed and invoiced at that time, documentation memorializing the authorization was not executed.

This staff report seeks Council authorization to formally amend the MDG contract to reflect the $9,383.60 in work already performed and paid for, ensuring the City’s records are accurate and the contract amount is aligned with actual expenditures. All funds for the current contract have been expended or are committed; therefore, this amendment will require an additional allocation from the General Fund.

ACTION REQUESTED -
AUTHORIZE PAYMENT TO MELTON DESIGN GROUP, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $9,383.60 FOR WORK PERFORMED IN 2023.
