The first reading of Ordinance No. 1898 came before the City Council at the May 19, 2026 regular City Council meeting. The proposed HS-O District is intended to encourage the development and coordination of medical, wellness, and related support services in proximity to the existing healthcare cluster. The overlay would not replace underlying zoning but would provide additional policy guidance and regulatory clarity for health-related uses within the identified area.
