A. ROLL CALL, POSTING OF AGENDA
At 6:11 p.m., the regular meeting of the Oxnard Housing Authority convened in the Council Chambers, concurrently with the City Council. Commissioners Gabriela Basua, Luis Mc Arthur, Bert E. Perello, Michaela Perez, Gabriela Rodriguez, Aaron Starr, Gabriel Teran and Jose Andrade were present. The Secretary Designate stated that the agenda was posted on Thursday, December 5, 2024 in the City Hall kiosk, City of Oxnard website and City Administrative Offices (Clerk's Office). Chairperson Luis Mc Arthur presided and called the meeting to order. Housing Director Ramirez was available to answer the Commissioners questions. No public comments were received. Discussion ensued among the Commissioners and staff.
Commissioner Basua stated that she is recusing herself because of the potential conflict of interest regarding the future use of vendor in her employment capacity.

4. SUBJECT: United States Department of Housing and Urban Development's (HUD) Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) Application.
RECOMMENATION: That the Board of Commissioners adopt a resolution authorizing the Executive Director to submit a HUD Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) Program Application to convert public housing subsidies to project-based Section 8 assistance under the RAD program and any companion HUD disposition programs, including executing all required application documents and supporting documents for the submission of the RAD application.

It was moved by Commissioner Perello, seconded by Commissioner Perez, to approve the recommended action as presented.

There being no further business on the agenda, and without objection, Chairperson Mc Arthur adjourned the meeting at 8:08 p.m.
