He has admirably fulfilled the duties of his office and, as the saying goes, “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”.
Mayor Pro Tem Teran represents a key link to a successful future for Oxnard through his advocacy and support of our youth. His career has been dedicated to serving the youth of Ventura County, especially those coming from challenging home environments.
Gabe is also very digitally savvy, probably more so than anyone else on Council. I mention this because these two areas are where Oxnard needs to focus its attention on. Our city will only be as successful as our children are. The path to that reality is through positive engagement, encouragement and outreach via wha tever digital
platforms are available with experts such as Mayor Pro Tem Teran leading the way.
So please consider my endorsement of Mr. Teran for what it’s worth and vote to reappoint him as Oxnard’s Mayor Pro Tem.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Best,
Steve Nash

I think Councilmember Teran should serve another term as Mayor Pro Tem, allowing for further skill building with the newer councilmembers. Thank you. Deirdre Frank
