Oxnard City Council:
I am writing to commend Len Shulman for his exceptional and longstanding service to our community. Mr. Shulman exemplified dedication, integrity, and thoughtful leadership on both the Measure O Citizen Oversight Committee and his Carriage Square Neighborhood Council.
I am especially appreciative for his assistance and management with regards to restarting the INCO Candidate Forums so that the people of Oxnard could be better informed about the people who may govern them in the future. I leaned on his knowledge and advice in setting up forums that would be beneficial not just to the candidates in getting their message out, but most importantly to the public who had a right to know the positions and experience of their municipal candidates.
Len Shulman’s decades of volunteer leadership have left a lasting mark on our community. We are immensely grateful for the dedication and example that he set for civic involvement.
