A. Fiscal Year 2023-24 Mid-Year Budget Modifications and First Reading of an Ordinance Amending the Fiscal Year 2023-24 Budget
Public comment received from Daniel Miller and Mike Gibbs.
Action: Upon motion by Mayor Pro Tem Smith and seconded by Councilmember Amelio, Council voted to
1. Request the City Attorney read the title of the ordinance;
2. Motion to waive further reading of the ordinance and introduce an Ordinance to Amend the Fiscal Year 2023-24 Budget;
3. Direct a summary of a proposed ordinance be published as approved by the City Attorney.
Motion carried 6-0-1, by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Mayor Peake, Mayor Pro Tem Smith, Councilmember Amelio, Coletti, McDonnell, and Poduri.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilmember Beck.
CEQA: Does not constitute a “Project” per California Environmental Quality Act Guidelines Section 15378
B. Consider an Appeal of Architectural Permit (AP), Use Permit (UP) and Variance (VAR) 22-0284, 773-775 Ocean View Blvd, Pacific Grove (APN 006-071-007); continued from the City Council Regular Meeting on November 1, 2023 No public comment received.
Action: Upon motion by Councilmember Amelio and seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Smith, Council voted to continue consideration of the appeal and project (Application No. 22-0284) to March 20, 2024.
Motion carried 6-0-1, by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Mayor Peake, Mayor Pro Tem Smith, Councilmember Amelio, Coletti, McDonnell, and Poduri.
NOES: None.

CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Peake called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Present in Chamber: Mayor Peake, Councilmembers Amelio, Coletti, McDonnell, and Poduri. Absent: Mayor Pro Tem Smith and Councilmember Beck.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE:
Mayor Peake led the pledge of allegiance.

Action: Upon motion by Councilmember Coletti and seconded by Councilmember Amelio, Council voted 5-0-2, Mayor Pro Tem Smith and Councilmember Beck absent, to approve the agenda.

A. Community Goals and Work Plan Review for FY 24-25

Action: Council reviewed existing Work Plan and provided direction to staff City Manager.

B. Five-Year Fiscal Forecast and Budget Workshop
