RECOMMENDATION
Approve appointments to City Boards, Committees, Commissions, and Task Force listed below.

DISCUSSION
City committees play an important role in our city government. We are fortunate to have many highly qualified residents willing to serve on our committees.

I’ve used information gleaned from many sources to select these appointments: applications, resumes, personal contacts, observations, and feedback from City staff and residents. I’ve taken into consideration demonstrated commitment to the City and fit to the committee’s mission.

Terms of office begin February 1 and end January 31 of the respective year. Mayoral appointments to City committees must be confirmed by Council (City Charter, Art. 26).
