TASK ORDER NO. 2
CITY OF PACIFICA
AND
SCHAAF & WHEELER CONSULTING CIVIL ENGINEERS
SECTION 1 – PURPOSE
The purpose of this Task Order is to authorize and direct SCHAAF & WHEELER CONSULTING CIVIL ENGINEERS to proceed with the work specified in SECTION 2 below, in accordance with the provisions of the Master Agreement for Consultant Services between the City of Pacifica (“CITY”) and SCHAAF & WHEELER CONSULTING CIVIL ENGINEERS (“CONSULTANT”) hereto dated May 26, 2020 (“MASTER AGREEMENT”) and Amendment No. 1 dated March 3, 2022.
SECTION 2 – SCOPE OF WORK
The items authorized by this Task Order are presented in Attachment “A” – Scope of Services, which is attached hereto and incorporated by this reference.
SECTION 3 – COMPENSATION AND PAYMENT
Compensation shall be as provided in the MASTER AGREEMENT. Compensation for services as set forth in SECTION 2 shall be as set forth in Attachment “B” – Compensation, which is attached hereto and incorporated by this reference. Total compensation for all services provided under this Task Order shall not exceed One Hundred Five Thousand Six Hundred Thirty Dollars ($105,630) (“Cost Ceiling”).
SECTION 4 – TIME OF PERFORMANCE
The services described in SECTION 2 of this Task Order shall be completed by December 31, 2023, or as extended in writing by the City Manager.
SECTION 5 – ITEMS AND CONDITIONS
All terms and conditions contained in the MASTER AGREEMENT are incorporated by reference and remain in full force and effect.

SUBJECT: Proposal for Engineering, Bid, and Construction Support Services for Anza Pump Station Repair Project (C036)
Schaaf & Wheeler is providing you with this scope and fee to perform engineering services associated with the Bid and Construction Support Services required for Anza Pump Station.
Outlined herein is the proposed scope and associated level of effort.
Task 1 – Additional Engineering Services
This task includes all engineering work associated with development of final plans and specifications as necessary to accommodate City requested changes as well as changes necessary to accommodate temporary operation of the station. These changes include:
• Changes to City preferred engine manufacturer;
• A need to provide interim pumping;
• Changes to City preferred pump replacement strategy that necessitated a redesign of the roof and revisions to the hydraulic analysis of the station • City preferred modifications to engine control and monitoring Task 2 – Bid Support Services
This task includes providing support to the City during the bidding process. The following tasks are assumed:
• Attendance at prebid meeting;
• Review and response to bidder questions;
• Preparation of up to two addenda;

• Review of bids and recommendation for award;
• Preparation of conformed bid documents.
Task 3 – Construction Support Service
This task includes providing engineering support to the City during the construction process.
Services include response to contractor issued RFIs, review of Contractor product submittals and shop drawings, preparation of necessary design clarifications, review of change order requests, and preparation of record drawings.
