Task 2 – Survey
Task 2.1 – Topographic Survey and Potholing
Carollo’s surveyor will conduct a topographic survey of the existing disinfection and filtration area surface features, including location of the existing hardscape features, parking areas, railings, fences, and visual utilities within the area. Surveyed area is anticipated to be approximately one acre. Potholing will be conducted at up to three locations to verify location of existing buried utilities. A topographic map of the site including topographic features and elevations at a 1-foot contour interval will be prepared and provided in the AutoCAD Civil3D for use as the project base map.

The surveyor will research and tie into published control to establish project datums on the California State Plane Coordinate System and a published vertical benchmark (NAVD 1988). This will not constitute a boundary survey or property boundary resolution.

Task 3.1 – CEQA Support
Carollo shall provide engineering support for the CEQA documents that will be prepared by others.

Although it is currently assumed that the CEQA document would be a mitigated negative declaration (MND), and that there will likely be a mitigation monitoring program (MMP), there is a potential for the project to be categorically exempt. In the event that a CEQA MND and MMP are required, engineering support will include assistance in preparing and filing paperwork including site plans and figures.

Assumptions
 City will prepare and submit permits.
 Carollo will provide support with project area figures and Carollo’s estimates for construction activities.

Task 4 – Funding Support
Task 4.1 – Funding Support
Carollo shall provide support services for the funding application for the project, which is expected to consist of an application to the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) program. The application is expected to be prepared by a separate funding consultant contracting directly with the City, but the Carollo will be expected to prepare and provide engineering and cost-related documentation needed to support the application.
