A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PACIFICA
AUTHORIZING THE REVISIONS TO THE PARKS, BEACHES, AND
RECREATION DIRECTOR JOB CLASSIFICATION
1 WHEREAS, Article 4, Section 2-4.401 of the Pacifica Municipal Code establishes a civil service personnel system and procedures for the administration of personnel matters; and WHEREAS, said Chapter requires that the City Manager, as Personnel Officer, prepare and recommend to the City Council a position classification plan, class specifications, and revisions thereto; and
WHEREAS, said Chapter requires that personnel rules and policies be adopted by resolution of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the Parks, Beaches, and Recreation position will become vacant in December 2022 due to retirement, and updating the job description of the position Parks, Beaches, and Recreation Director will reflect the current service level provided by PB&R department;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Pacifica, California, that the Parks, Beaches, and Recreation Director job classification is hereby revised and amended with no change to the salary schedule to the Unrepresented Management and Confidential Employees MOU;
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Pacifica, California, held on August 22, 2022, by the following vote:
