Mayor Bier called the special meeting to order at 11:43 am.
Mayor Bier read the Land Acknowledgment.
Mayor Bier led the Salute to the Flag.
SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS
A. Special Presentation - Honoring Congresswoman Jackie Speier Mayor Bier read a letter honoring Congresswoman Jackie Speier on her nearly four decades of public service and highlighting Congresswoman Speier's work and support that has impacted the City of Pacifica. Mayor Bier presented the letter and photo gift to Congresswoman Speier.
Mayor Bier expressed her sincere appreciation to Congresswoman Speier.
Mayor pro Tem Bigstyck spoke of Congresswoman Speier's impact and expressed his thanks.
Councilmember Beckmeyer expressed her gratitude to Congresswoman Speier.

Councilmember Vaterlaus thanked Congresswoman Speier for her service and contributions to Pacifica.
Councilmember O'Neill expressed his sincere thanks to Congresswoman Speier.
Mayor Bier opened Public Comments.

Mayor Bier closed Public Comments.
Congresswoman Speier addressed the Council and audience thanking them for their words of appreciation and expressing her admiration of Pacifica. She acknowledged her staff members Brian Perkins and Katrina Rill and thanked them for their support over the years.
Mayor Bier adjourned the meeting and invited the audience to enjoy refreshments.
Note: This meeting is open to the public and is noticed as a special meeting of the Pacifica City Council in accordance with the Brown Act. Public comment is limited to the item listed on the agenda.
