1 TASK ORDER NO. 2
CITY OF PACIFICA

GHIRARDELLI ASSOCIATES, INC.
SECTION 1 – PURPOSE
The purpose of this Task Order is to authorize and direct GHIRARDELLI ASSOCIATES, INC. to proceed with the work specified in SECTION 2 below, in accordance with the provisions of the Master Agreement for Consultant Services between the City of Pacifica (“CITY”) and GHIRARDELLI ASSOCIATES, INC. (“CONSULTANT”) hereto dated 3 March 2022 (“MASTER AGREEMENT”) SECTION 2 – SCOPE OF WORK
The items authorized by this Task Order are presented in Attachment “A” – Scope of Services, which is attached hereto and incorporated by this reference.
SECTION 3 – COMPENSATION AND PAYMENT
Compensation shall be as provided in the MASTER AGREEMENT. Compensation for services as set forth in SECTION 2 shall be as set forth in Attachment “B” – Compensation, which is attached hereto and incorporated by this reference. Total compensation for all services provided under this Task Order shall not exceed _Seventy Six Thousand Nine Hundred_($_76,900) (“Cost Ceiling”).
SECTION 4 – TIME OF PERFORMANCE
The services described in SECTION 2 of this Task Order shall be completed by December 31, 2023, or as extended in writing by the City Manager.
SECTION 5 – ITEMS AND CONDITIONS
All terms and conditions contained in the MASTER AGREEMENT are incorporated by reference and remain in full force and effect.

RE: Task Order No. 2 – Continuation of Construction Management Services for Anza Pump Station Repair Project
Dear Mr. Schlater,
Thank you for the opportunity to provide construction management and inspection services for the Anza Pump Station Rebuild Project. Due to unforeseen delays, the project is now expected to be completed in May 2023 instead of December 2022 as originally anticipated. This proposal is submitted as requested by the City of Pacifica (City) in order to extend our services through May 2023.
The remaining balance in Task Order 1 as of 12/31/22 is estimated to be $25,000. The estimated fee to extend our construction management and inspection services for an additional five (5) months at 60 hours/month is as follows:
Jaime Heredia, PE (Resident Engineer) 300 hours x $240.44/hour = $ 72,132.00 Lam “Kean” Tran, PMP (Construction Inspector) 300 hours x $172.75/hour = $ 51,825.00 Total $ 123,957.00
Note: Rates include a 3% increase from the 2022 rates.
After including the balance in Task Order 1 ($25,000) and the contingency amount of $22,060, we estimate that an additional $76,900.00 will be needed to complete the project.
