RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PACIFICA AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A SECOND TASK ORDER TO THE CONSULTANT MASTER SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH GHIRARDELLI ASSOCIATES, INC. FOR
PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES
WHEREAS, consistent with the City of Pacifica’s Purchasing Policy (Administrative Policy No. 76), the City of Pacifica entered into a master services agreement and task order no. 1 with Ghirardelli Associates, Inc. (“GHA”) for consulting services under the City Council’s purchasing authority in May 2020; and
WHEREAS, the level of effort required to complete the construction management services for the Anza Pump Station Repair Project will exceed the estimates used to establish the original task order no. 1 amount for construction management due to the project completion estimated to slip an additional nine months; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Pacifica has considered the City Manager’s recommendation to approve a master services agreement and task order no. 1 with GHA, Inc. for consulting services on March 3, 2022.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pacifica to authorize the City Manager to execute task order no. 2 with GHA, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $76,900 per the agreement’s task order and authorize additional budget authority in the amount of $88,435 which includes 15% contingency or $11,535. • • • • •
