The City has recruited applicants for the Climate Action and Adaptation Plan Task Force seeking a broad cross-section of the community, such as residents, businesses, youth, faith community, nonprofit organizations, and residential and commercial property owners.

Recruitment for the Climate Action and Adaptation Plan Task Force positions was also advertised in the “Connect With Pacifica” and “Business Matters” weekly e-newsletters issued by the City Manager’s Office, the City’s Facebook and NextDoor social media channels, and external groups including the Rotary Club of Pacifica and the Pacifica Climate Committee.

The City received fifteen (15) timely applications for the Climate Action and Adaptation Plan Task Force. The list of applicants under consideration for the Climate Action and Adaptation Plan Task Force is attached.

Interviews were conducted by the City Council at a Special City Council Meeting held on July 6, 2023.
