FIRST AMENDMENT TO MASTER AGREEMENT FOR CONSULTANT SERVICES This First Amendment to Master Agreement for Consultant Services (the "First Amendment") is made and entered into this 11TH day of JULY, 2023, by and between THE CITY OF PACIFICA, a municipal corporation (hereinafter referred to as "CITY") and GROUP 4 ARCHITECTURE, RESEARCH + PLANNING, a California corporation (hereinafter referred to as "CONSULTANT").
RECITALS
WHEREAS, on November 24, 2020, CITY and Consultant entered into that certain agreement entitled “Master Agreement for Consultant Services Agreement” (“Agreement”) to provide Architectural services with an effective date until December 31, 2021 (the Term); and WHEREAS, City and Consultant now desire to enter into this First Amendment to extend the Term of the Agreement.
AGREEMENT
NOW, THEREFORE, for the considerations hereinafter set forth, the parties hereby agree as follows:
1. Section 3.1 of the Agreement, “Effective Date” is hereby deleted and replaced in its entirety to read as follows:
“Effective Date. This agreement shall become effective upon execution of the second signature and shall remain in full force and effect until the Services are completed (the “Term”). CONSULTANT agrees to complete all services by June 30, 2024. Work authorized by a Task Order shall be performed in accordance with the schedule set forth in the Task Order.”
Except as specifically amended above, all other provisions and terms of the Agreement shall remain unchanged in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have executed this First Amendment as of the date set forth above.
