TASK ORDER NO. 4
CITY OF PACIFICA
AND
GROUP 4 ARCHITECTURE, RESEARCH + PLANNING
SECTION 1 – PURPOSE
The purpose of this Task Order is to authorize and direct CONSULTANT to proceed with the work specified in SECTION 2 below, in accordance with the provisions of the Master Agreement for Consultant Services between the City of Pacifica (“CITY”) and GROUP 4 ARCHITECTURE, RESEARCH + PLANNING (“CONSULTANT”) hereto dated 24th of November, 2020 (“MASTER AGREEMENT”)
SECTION 2 – SCOPE OF WORK
The items authorized by this Task Order are presented in Attachment “A” – Scope of Services, which is attached hereto and incorporated by this reference.
SECTION 3 – COMPENSATION AND PAYMENT
Compensation shall be as provided in the MASTER AGREEMENT. Compensation for services as set forth in SECTION 2 shall be as set forth in Attachment “B” – Compensation, which is attached hereto and incorporated by this reference. Total compensation for all services provided under this Task Order shall not exceed One Hundred Eighty-Four Thousand Dollars ($184,000) (“Cost Ceiling”).
SECTION 4 – TIME OF PERFORMANCE
The services described in SECTION 2 of this Task Order shall be completed within 4 months or as extended in writing by the City Manager.
SECTION 5 – ITEMS AND CONDITIONS
All terms and conditions contained in the MASTER AGREEMENT are incorporated by reference and remain in full force and effect.

SCOPE SUMMARY:
The current project schedule is anticipated to extend four months beyond the original completion date. Significant additional effort by Group 4 will be required through the end of construction to continue to support the project.

The average number of Group 4 hours spent per month supporting the construction process over the last six months is approximately 249 hours per month. This level of effort is anticipated to conditinue until the project reaches substanstial completion. Multiple Group 4 staff members support this project each month. The blended billing rate for staff members working on this project, proportionate to the hours worked over the last six months, is $185 per hour.
In this proposal, Group 4 requests additional fees to support the construction of the Civic Center through this four month construction extension at 248.75 hours per month at a blended hourly billing rate of $185/hr.
