City of Pacifica Rockaway Pump Station
Section No. 1
Project Understanding and Approach
The City of Pacifica proposes to decommission the existing Cummins, natural gas generator unit due to its advanced age, deteriorating condition and decreased reliability, to provide backup power in the event of loss of Utility (PGSE) power, at their Rockaway Pump Station.
The existing pump station electrical service is provided The proposed backup generator will be a portable trailer by PG&E.
