Pacifica Four Priority Parks Preparation of Planting and Irrigation Plans Dear Mr. Harvey,
This letter provides formal documentation of NCE’s discussions with the City of Pacifica (City) regarding the requested Budget Amendment No. 1 for the Preparation of Planting and Irrigation Plans. The budget amendment reflects the following additional scope items requested by the City and NCE’s understanding of the scope of work:
1) The City has requested that NCE prepare Planting and Irrigation Plans for each of the park sites, Brighton, Imperial, Marvilla and Skyridge.
2) Plantings will consist of a mix of trees and groundcovers with wood chip mulch. 3) Irrigation Design is required, all new planted areas will be watered by an automatic irrigation system. 4) Within Marvilla and Brighton Parks all new planting will be within the boundaries of the existing fences.
Existing trees shall be protected and existing shrubs evaluated for their suitability for preservation. 5) For all Parks the new plantings and irrigation will be located within the area as shown on the attached Limit of Work Diagrams.
ADDITIONAL SCOPE:
The budget amendment scope will be per the following tasks that are defined in detail within Task Order #1 dated January 24th, 2022.
Task 6: 60% Construction Documents-Imperial and Skyridge Parks Task 6.1: 60% Construction Documents-Brighton and Marvilla Parks Task 7: 90% Construction Documents-Imperial and Skyridge Parks Task 7.1: 90% Construction Documents-Brighton and Marvilla Parks Task 8: 100% Construction Documents-Imperial and Skyridge Parks Task 8.1: 100% Construction Documents-Brighton and Marvilla Parks Task 9: Bidding Support Services-Imperial and Skyridge Parks Task 9.1: Bidding Support Services-Brighton and Marvilla Parks Task 10: Construction Observation Services

To accommodate the additional work we are requesting our budget be amended on a time and materials basis by $23,415.00.
