SECOND AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT FOR CONSULTANT SERVICES
This Second Amendment to Agreement for Consultant Services (“Second Amendment”) is made and entered into this 23rd of June, 2025, by and between THE CITY OF PACIFICA, a municipal corporation (hereinafter referred to as "CITY") and MIG, Inc., a California corporation (hereinafter referred to as "CONSULTANT").
RECITALS
WHEREAS, on December 20, 2024, CITY and CONSULTANT entered into that certain agreement entitled “Agreement for Consultant Services” (“Agreement”) to provide on-call planning services and related services; and
WHEREAS, on May 12, 2025, the City Council authorized CITY and CONSULTANT to enter into a First Amendment to that Agreement to increase the Cost Ceiling of the Agreement; and WHEREAS CITY and CONSULTANT now desire to enter into this Second Amendment to extend the Term in section 3.1 (“Effective Date”) of the Agreement.
AGREEMENT
NOW, THEREFORE, for the considerations hereinafter set forth, the parties hereby amend the Agreement as follows:
1. Section 3.1 of the Agreement, "Effective Date" is hereby amended to read as follows:
Effective Date. This Agreement shall become effective upon execution of the second signature and shall remain in full force and effect until the Services are completed (the 'Term"). CONSULTANT agrees to complete all services by December 31, 2025.
2. Agreement in Effect. Except as amended by this Second Amendment, the Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
3. Counterpart Signatures. This Second Amendment may be signed in multiple counterparts which, when signed by all parties, shall constitute a binding agreement.
