BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
Staff has submitted the following Monthly Check Register Report per California Government Code, Title 4, Division 3, Part 3, Chapter 3, Section 41004:
• Disbursements dated 05/1/26 through 05/31/26 are in the amount of $4,250,417.24 (Attachment 1).
RELATION TO CITY COUNCIL GOALS AND WORK PLAN:
Approval of Monthly Check Register Report is consistent with the following Council adopted Goals:
· Enhance organizational and fiscal stability: Preparation of the Monthly Check Register Report supports sound financial oversight, transparency, and adherence to adopted fiscal controls.
· Broaden public communications and collaboration: Filing of the Monthly Check Register Report promotes transparency and accountability in City financial operations.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no fiscal impact associated with acceptance of the Monthly Check Register Report.
The report is provided for informational and transparency purposes only and does not authorize any new expenditures or budget appropriations. The disbursements reflected in the report have already been processed in accordance with the City's adopted budget and established financial controls.
