Minutes of the Special Meeting of the City Council
of the City of Palm Springs
1. CALL TO ORDER:
A Special Meeting of the Palm Springs City Council was called to order by Mayor Bernstein on Monday, January 22, 2024, at 2:00 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL:
Present: Councilmembers Grace Elena Garner, and Lisa Middleton; Mayor Pro Tem Ron deHarte; and Mayor Jeffrey Bernstein.
Absent: Councilmembers Christy Holstege.
3. PUBLIC COMMENT: None.
4. INTERVIEW APPLICANTS AND APPOINT ONE MEMBER TO THE PLANNING
COMMISSION
The City Council interviewed Alan Hymowitz, Don Soja, Melisa Dolores-Silva, Robert Tickell, Lyndon T. Calerdine, and Thomas Laurita.
MOTION BY MAYOR PRO TEM DEHARTE, SECOND BY COUNCILMEMBER MIDDLETON, CARRIED 4-0, to interview Planning Commission applicants; and, appoint Lyndon T. Calerdine to the Planning Commission for a term ending June 30, 2024.
5. ADJOURNMENT:
The City Council adjourned the meeting of Monday, January 22, 2024, at 3:11 p.m.
