Amend On-Call Doors and Windows Installation, Maintenance and Repair Services Agreement the safety, accessibility, and overall condition of the City’s diverse portfolio of buildings, including several historic and high-profile civic facilities.
Doors and windows are critical to building security, access control, and energy efficiency.
The on-call nature of the contract allows staff to respond quickly to repair needs, minimize disruptions to City operations, and extend the useful life of key City assets.
Since the award of the agreement, staff has identified a significantly higher volume of required doors and windows related repairs across multiple facilities than originally anticipated.
To ensure adequate Contract space to complete both ongoing and upcoming priority projects, staff is recommending an amendment to increase the contract amount by an additional $595,000. This adjustment will allow the City to continue addressing essential maintenance and repair needs in a timely and efficient manner.
