Section 2.04.060 of the Palm Springs Municipal Code; one member to represent Visit Greater Palm Springs nominated by the City Council Boards and Commissions Ad Hoc Subcommittee; and nine members, each appointed by the Palm Springs City Council from candidates nominated by each of the city councils of Cathedral City, Coachella, Desert Hot Springs, Indian Wells, Indio, La Quinta, Palm Desert, and Rancho Mirage, and the board of supervisors of Riverside County. Compliance with California Environmental Quality Act. The City Council finds that this Ordinance is not subject to the California Environmental Quality Act (“CEQA”) pursuant to Sections 15060(c)(2) (the activity will not result in a direct or reasonably foreseeable indirect physical change in the environment) and 15060(c)(3) (the activity is not a project as defined in Section 15378) of the State CEQA Guidelines, California Code of Regulations, Title 14, Chapter 3, because it has no potential for resulting in physical change to the environment, directly or indirectly.
