LETTER
OF
AGREEMENT
BETWEEN
CITY OF PALM SPRINGS
AND
PALM SPRINGS FIREFIGHTERS ASSOCIATION
This Side Letter of Agreement (“Agreement”) between the City of Palm Springs (“City”) and the Palm Springs Firefighters Association (“PSFA”) is entered into with respect to the following:
WHEREAS, the City and PSFA are parties to a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with a term of July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2029; and
WHEREAS, the parties wish to increase employee compensation contributions towards their Retirement Health savings plan of $300 per month for a total annual contribution of $3,600 effective September 1, 2026; and
WHEREAS, the following sets forth the parties’ Agreement:
Effective on September 1, 2026 after City Council approval of this Agreement, Palm Springs Firefighters Association employees hired on or after November 1, 2006 will make mandatory contributions of $300 per month for a total annual contribution of $3,600 to their City of Palm Springs Retirement Health Saving Plan.
