AMENDMENT NO.2 TO
AGREEMENT FOR SPECIAL SERVICES
BY AND BETWEEN
THE CITY OF PALM SPRINGS
AND
LIEBERT CASSIDY WHITMORE,
A PROFESSIONAL CORPORATION
THIS AMENDMENT is executed by and between Liebert Cassidy Whitmore, a professional corporation ("Attorney") and the City of Palm Springs ("City"), and will amend the prior agreement between the parties entitled Agreement for Special Services which was entered into October 2, 2022.
WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend their agreement to allow or provide for the continued consulting, representational and legal services pertaining to employment relations matters, including representation in negotiations;
WHEREAS, the Agreement provides for amendments; and
WHEREAS, the City and Attorney are desirous of amending the Agreement for the purpose of adjusting the Hourly Fee Schedule;
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows:
I. This amendment shall be effective as of September 1, 2026.
2. Fees, Costs, Expenses: Section 3, Paragraph 2 - The current range of hourly rates for Attorney time is from Three Hundred Thirty to Four Hundred Ninety Dollars ($330.00 - $490.00).
