Dear Mayor Stone and council members,
In light of the recent storms here and in San Diego and Southern California and the SCC alerts we all received, Please remove the tree ordinance from consent and send back to staff for additional analysis.
Clearly the assumption that last year’s storms were a one-off is no longer credible.
Discuss future weather events with experts and modify the ordinance as appropriate including recent comments from John Kelley and Leah Russin.
