1 Background
• Municipal Code establishes Council and Standing Committee regular meeting dates • Typical deviations from regular Council schedule:
• scheduling additional special meetings as necessary to complete City business • rescheduling meetings that fall on holidays when City offices are closed • rescheduling meetings that fall on religious or cultural holidays per City Council direction
2 • Equity Action Plan Item 1.3: Create a process that includes the Human Relations Commission for annual calendar setting related to holidays and heritage months – Discussed with HRC at the October HRC Meeting
