TITLE
Supplemental Report: Appointment of Candidate for the Parks and Recreation Commission
RECOMMENDATION
Councilmembers are allowed one (1) vote for each vacancy (PRC has one (1) vacancy), and a majority vote (4 yes’s) is required to appoint a candidate.
Councilmembers have been asked to submit their votes for the Parks and Recreation Commission appointment to the City Clerk. The results will be announced at the Monday, November 4, 2024 City Council meeting.
Vacancies
•One (1) position on the Parks and Recreation Commission with partial term ending 3/31/2026.
Membership Requirements: PAMC 2.25.010, members of the commission shall have demonstrated interest in parks, open space, and recreation matters. Members of the commission shall at all times be residents of Palo Alto.
