Our hearts are with those impacted by the devastating fires in LA County. I am proud to share a brief update on Palo
Alto Fire's deployment to the Palisades fire via mutual aid. • PAFD Engineer/Paramedic as a Fire Line Paramedic
responding to civilians and first responders with injuries • Engine 65 crew engaged since January 8, protecting the communities of Pacific Palisades and Brentwood and UCLA • Additionally, a Palo Alto Fire firefighter responded with FEMA’s Task Force 3 with primary focus on search and
rescue
No injuries to our personnel have been reported.

• Staff are exploring the possibility of adding a new public restroom at Eleanor Pardee Park, noting community
interest.
• The survey is available now through February 13 and
feedback will inform next steps.
• Should there be community interest in adding a restroom at Pardee Park, further community engagement would
occur, and staff would recommend project funding in the FY 2026 budget process, with possible design and
installation the following year in FY 2027.
