Dear council,
I am writing concerning speeding on Middlefield Road south of Colorado Ave. The typical speed on this road is between 30 and 37 mph with many people traveling over 45. I have noted that hardly anybody obeys the current 25 limit including police and buses. High speed on this road is dangerous because of the use of the road by bikers and that there are many streets that enter onto this road. Because of the distance between traffic lights, people also cross the road at unmarked intersections. It is my understanding that the current 25 mph limit is not enforceable even among those drivers that are exceeding the limit by over 20. I am writing again to urge you to have the limit raised to 30 mph and to urge the police to enforce the speed limit.
