FIRE PREVENTION WEEK: OCTOBER 5-11
Read the update at www.paloalto.gov/news
• A new community update offers safety tips,
shares City fire prevention efforts and notes the
importance of everyday habits our community
can take to prevent fires, support emergency
preparedness and more.
• This year’s theme — “Charge into Fire Safety
:
Lithium-Ion Batteries in Your Home” — reminds
us that everyday devices like phones, laptops,
and e-bikes can pose fire risks if not used or
charged properly.
Each October, communities across the
nation, including Palo Alto,
recognize Fire Prevention Week
October 5-12.
