Recruitment Timeline:
• January 13 – Recruitment Opened
• February 18 – Recruitment Closed with 3 applications to the HRB • March 2 – Council reviewed applications, and HRB Recruitment was extended by Council • One application withdrew, one application was received • August 24 – Council to review applications
• Sept 9 – Interviews (Tentative)
• Sept 14 – Appointments (Tentative)
HISTORIC RESOURCES BOARD EXTENDED RECRUITMENT
2 • The number of interviewees varies based on the number of vacancies. o Interview all candidates if there are 6 or fewer applicants o Interview up to 6 candidates when there are 1-2 openings o Interview up to 8 candidates when there are 3 openings o Interview up to 10 candidates when there are 4 openings • Councilmembers will vote on whom to interview, getting twice the number of votes as there are openings. The top vote getters are interviewed.
• Candidates must receive at least 2 votes to be interviewed.

Based on the Council’s approved process, all three candidates would be invited to interview.
Council has the discretion to authorize a different process if directed.
Council may also provide direction on continuing HRB recruitment efforts, if desired.
